“Saint Apollonia” she is back.  Apollonia is the patron saint of dentistry. This is the fifth of six Apollonia paintings I will feature in Dental Art before and after her feast day February 9. As you can imagine as a saint there are many depictions of her, mostly from previous centuries. NEXT WEEK the Apollonia picture is quite different. Be prepared. You can read her sad tale here.

Dental art is anything that depicts teeth or dentistry in an interesting or artistic way. If you have any suggestions for future Dental Art pieces please send them to me or give me a link. Thanks.
