Another article about new technology making diagnosis fast easy and inexpensive. Of course the technology in itself is amazing but what I believe is even more significant is the potential disruption and how technology will fundamentaly change both medicine and dentistry. I have written about this often, (look here for more) the underlying issue is that technology has the potential to make medicine much less expensive and more accesible. I believe this type of technological evolution will be far more effective in reducing costs and increasing access than a top down government program.
