From Vijay Sikka:

…one of the most deserving demographics who needs conversational interfaces is the doctors. Gloves in both hands and a sterile environment make browser clicking or even smartphone touch interface impractical, expensive in cleaning from blood/saliva, time consuming and cumbersome.

The linked article focuses on the use of voice with Sikka software. However the concept is intriguing. Using voice commands in dentistry has long been an elusive goal. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to speak in dental conditions and findings to the chart or to ask the computer if a patient has allergies and have it respond back.
