Future Tech

in General

Predicting what is coming in high tech always is a gamble. However, there are two trends likely to continue defining our use of technology in the future. One is the creative and ubiquitous use of the Internet. Every new device will be Internet-enabled. Of course, your phone will be connected; but so will your alarm clock, your car, your refrigerator and your dental office supply cabinet.

The second trend is the fusing together of what in the past had been separate and distinct devices. For example, TVs, computers and telephones; today you can watch a TV show on a phone, send e-mail using a television and talk to your friends on a computer. Expect similar convergence of technologies in your practice.
