In my experience the two most common mistakes dentists make with computer technology are:
Failure to plan and create a vision.
If the dentist does not know what is possible he/she cannot possibly create a vision of what a high tech office should look like and how it will function. As a result they tend to buy random technology that does not meet their needs and does not work well together.
Even if the dentist buys the right high tech products if they are not used well they have limited value. Training is not a onetime event it is an ongoing process. If you have not had some sort of high tech training in the office in the last year; you are holding your office back.
