Contact lenses will project images directly onto your eyeballs

I admit this is pretty high on the “creeps me out” list; yet fascinating none the less. I see possible medical uses to enhance problem vision. Also what about enhanced vision during treatment. A dentist using these lenses could see a magnified image of the tooth or possibly a virtual representation of the bone from a CBCT projected on the actual tissue. Maybe a telemetry readout of the patient’s vital signs in the corner of your eye.

All those 3DTVs and virtual reality goggles are soon to be rendered obsolete by contact lenses with built-in LED arrays that can display images on top of your retinas,
