Rick Willeford pointed this product out to me at the Hinman Meeting. It is a scanner built into the computer keyboard. I routinely advise dental offices to get a flatbed desktop scanner in order to scan in x-rays. Rick agreed with that but he pointed out that scanning x-rays is a rare event while front desk people scan in single page documets (like an EOB) all day long. The Keyscan allows users to scan paper without leaving their chair and it takes up virtually no scarce desk space. The x-ray scanner can be set up away from the immediate front desk area and accessed as needed.
