Getting “Liked”

Here is another slick idea I picked up at the Sesame breakfast. The dental offices that are generating lots of online activity especially Facebook “likes” and such are making it easy by offering patients the opportunity to “like” them when the patient is in the dental office. The dental office has an iPad (or equivalent) they give to patients, they show them the office Facebook page (or whatever) and then have the patient “like” them or write a review while the patient is in the office.

A word of caution, Do not have patients write a Google review from your office. Google is smart, well semi smart. If Google detects multiple reviews goming from the same place (your office) it assumes they are bogus sapm reviews and will eliminate them. Google can’t determine if the review is really being written by a different person so it assumes the worst. That is why it is only semi smart.
