Dentists often ask about touch screens for the treatment rooms. I am not sure this is a good idea. Touch screens offer some minimal asepsis benefits but require the user to go to the screen to enter data or access something, like an x-ray and I believe the actual work-flow of a treatment room is hampered by touch screens.

On the other hand this may be a very nice option for a reception room kiosk or patient use terminal.

Pros: Large, responsive touch-screen display. Blu-ray player. TouchSmart interface is great. Screen tilts and reclines. Wireless keyboard and mouse.
