Washington—The Association urged support for legislation offered by dentist/Rep. Paul Gosar R-Ariz. to repeal the 67-year exemption from antitrust laws for “the business of health insurance…The Association has advocated repeal of the 1945 McCarran-Ferguson Act antitrust exemption for the insurance industry for more than 20 years.

This has passed in the house. Interesting. It seems I am coming upon more and more relevant articles regarding politics and health-care. I guess that is a natural result of this being an election year. Next week the Supreme Court will take up the constitutionality of the insurance mandate. It promises to be a political circus.
