I am not a fan of Yelp. I have heard a number of disturbing stories about Yelp and their business practices. I cannot verify these stories specifically so I will not report them. However I can express my personal opinion which is to be cautious with Yelp.
Having said that the linked American Express article below has 10 things worth knowing, especially number nine, “Business owners can dispute reviews on Yelp.” Based on reports in the dental press disputing reviews has been fairly useless. I hope I am wrong.
