Americans prefer to email on the go, social network at home

These two very pretty charts show how we spend our time using the Internet. Not a big surprise Social Media takes up our time at home, second only to “other”…whatever that is. We now spend more time with e-mail on our mobile devices. I am sure this is accurate as to time spent. However I wonder what the answer world be if we asked people which is more important in their daily life, e-mail or social media? HT Jasom Lipscomb.

The unstoppable juggernaut that is social networking (23 percent) leads the way on computers, with online gaming (10 percent) now joining it in second place, and email ousted to an unhappy third (8 percent).
