How I Learned to Live Google-free

The writer of the linked article below decided to go “Google-free”. Several items of interest: Google is everywhere and you are likely using Google services you did not even know were Googlish. When you use these services Google is gathering personal information about you. (Are you OK with that?) When you replace Google you may find there are equivalent services that are better.

I decided to put my own dependence on Google to the test. The plan was simpleā€”to the best of my ability, I would sever my relationship with Google. I vowed to stop doing business with Google by no longer providing it information. Could I go Google-free without losing my digital quality of life?
