Data Mining

Data mining is the act of looking for useful relationships in general practice data (data that is gathered as a byproduct of doing business) that can be used to better manage our practice or serve our patients. For example the online e-service, Action Run, uses clinical data to find inactive patients then combines that with demographic data to create a customized reactivation message that is sent using the basic personal data such as home address.

This is all done using the Internet and existing data. No person needs to look up a treatment plan or type an envelope.
