More news from the ADA. One of my favorite high tech companies Sesame Communications introduced a new upgraded product Sesame 24-7. It is a complete cloud based e-service that manages all (or almost all) of our online patient communication systems. The main components are:
- Search Marketing
- Web Site Design
- Mobile Web Sites
- Patient Log In
- Appointment Reminders
- Patient Engagement
All of these are important however I am especially interested in the log in features. This allows you to make your practice web page interactive. That is patients can check appointments, make a payment or fill in forms online. This type of user generated interactive system is clearly the most effective way to use the Internet and at this time very few dentists have this kind of “Web 2.0” site.
One of the best new features is the improved online dashboard. This makes it easier for the office to track and follow up effectively with the back and forth patient information the system generates.
