Well, yes this does make sense. Don’t upgrade an XP machine get a new one. Read the whole article for some good reasons why. As a general rule you should consider replacing any computer over three years old which includes most XP machines.

Yes, you can upgrade from XP to Windows 7, but is it really worth it?

No!

Just buy an inexpensive new Win7 machine instead.
