I have been advising users to wait to upgrade from XP to 7 until after the first “bug fix” also known as Service Pack 1. This CNET article indicates the Service Pack is on the way and will be remarkably simple. In other words not to much to fix. Good news.  The rest of the article is mostly the Microsoft exec dodging questions about upcoming products.

Microsoft has sold more than 100 million licenses for Windows 7 and now estimates that one in 10 PCs worldwide is running the operating system.
