“Saint Apollonia” As you would expect there are many paintings of St. Apollonia the patron saint of dentistry. Here is one by Carlo Dolci an Italian Baroque painter. Look for more Apollonia in the coming weeks. Here is a previous image from the 1400s. There is quite a difference in artistic style and skill evident in the 200 years between the paintings.

Dental art is anything that depicts teeth or dentistry in an interesting or artistic way. If you have any suggestions for future Dental Art pieces please send them to me or give me a link. Thanks.
