via Dr. John Flucke’s 10 dental practice predictions for 2014 | Dental Products Report.

John Flucke is a good friend and a very smart guy. I know he is smart because we agree on so many things when it comes to high tech digital dentistry. For example his ten trends for 2014 are very much in alignment with my thinking.

  1. Internet connected equipment
  2. The Cloud
  3. Electronic Health Record
  4. HIPAA
  5. Cone Beam CT
  6. CAD CAM
  7. Security
  8. Backups
  9. No Track Lights
  10. 3D Printing

I agree all ten will be changing and affecting our dental future. The only one I have not considered is the lighting thing but agree he has a good point.

I find it interesting that six of the ten are Internet related and at least three are concerned with data security.
