Hmmm

…the algorithm gave pulse measurements that were consistently within a few beats per minute of those produced by electrocardiograms (EKGs). It was also able to provide useful estimates of the time intervals between beats, a measurement that can be used to identify patients at risk for cardiac events.

via Seeing the human pulse: Algorithm can accurately gauge heart rate by measuring tiny head movements in video data.

A great example of a completely non invasive scan that can be converted into significant medical data. The scan, in this case a video, can be uploaded and processed in the cloud using a device as simple as a cell phone. The data can become part of your medical history and be used to generate advanced diagnosis with AI.
