Very cool site that follows one of my major themes. We live in remarkable times, life is better in almost all respects for most humans that it has ever been and the future promises continued exponential  improvement in the human condition. Despite these easily observed facts people persist in proclaiming the times are awful and catastrophe is right around the corner.

The linked site allows users to enter their year and country of their birth and then gives some stats on six indicators of general well being including life expectancy, income and infant mortality.
