A great illustration of how our current system of medical care and health insurance has been corrupted by third parties and government policy. Medical care and health insurance are not the same thing and yet they are constantly conflated by political rhetoric. Free markets and technology have a much better chance of controlling costs and improving care than a top down command and control system.
