I imagine the author of this article thinks it is a balanced look at the issue from both sides.
The 2012 election is months away, but people are wondering: What would healthcare reform be like if Mitt Romney were elected president? The stakes are high
The author repeatedly returns to the argument that Romney and the Republicans have not offered a “comprehensive” plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. But in my opinion that is in fact the point. There should not be any comprehensive government plan. If the government got out of the way, let the market and new technology drive prices while providing a safety net for the truly indigent then most of the problems associated with the “health care crisis” will take care of themselves.
