Google+ accounts and pages will be shut down April 2nd

In a blog post and related support page that went live today, Google explained how the shutdown will unfold, and the important part for most ‘consumer’ users is this: they’re gonna delete all your posts, photos, videos, and comments, starting on April 2.

Google + never could compete with Facebook as a purely social media platform. Never the less it led to the most important thing a dentist can do to enhance his/her online presence. That is the Google + business page. This became the Google business page which is now called the “Knowledge Panel”. This is the section on the top right of a search page that should pop up when you Google your name.
