Gmail to automatically add events to Google Calendar for business users

From Mashable:

Whenever an email that contains flight, hotel, restaurant, or any ticketed event information lands in your Gmail inbox, it will be automatically added to your Google Calendar, check-in times and flight numbers included. Furthermore, if you receive an email that changes an existing event, that event will also be automatically changed in Calendar.

This seems like a good useful process. On the other hand I am already wary of everything Google knows about me. I assume if it is on Google calendar they know when I am traveling and where I am eating, so does automating the process make it more creepy?

If this works we should expect it to migrate to personal use including dental appointments. That would mean we send an appointment e-mail and it will be transferred to the patient’s calendar. No more no-shows !!! yeah right.
