Time on Task.

The left hand column lists some of the tasks dental team members need to do every day using traditional paper systems with the approximate time in minutes they spend each day on that task.

The right hand column lists the same tasks using digital records and digital workflow with online e-services.

Notice the bottom line; 220 minutes vs. 20 minutes. That is an increase in productivity of 1100%. Does that mean that one person could do the jobs of 11 people? I doubt it. However I do not doubt at all that one person could do what it used to take two people to do.

This is how technology pays for itself.
