I saw this new pan from Owandy in the Ashtell Dental booth at the CDA. It is a stand up face out unit for easy tactile positioning. It is possible to add a ceph.
However what I really liked was the ability of the software to create a limited 3D image of a selected 9mm area. For example you can select the area around an implant site and see three 3mm A-P sections. The image here shows how it works.
Another slick feature is a USB port that allows for a direct transfer of an image from the machine to a USB storage device.
