Facebook on Tuesday released a rule book for the types of posts it allows on its social network, giving far more detail than ever before on what is permitted on subjects ranging from drug use and sex work to bullying, hate speech and inciting violence.
How they determine what shows up on your Facebook feed has become controversial. Facebook continues to push back against recent charges of “censoring” political speech. The best known recent example is Diamond and Silk.
As a general rule Facebook shows your dental office posts to only 6% people who have “liked” your office page. In other words if you have 200 people who follow you on Facebook only 12 will see your posts. I fail to see the value to a dental practice of using Facebook.
